non-country line dance?
In school we're doing line dances and my partner and I have to learn a dance and present it to the class. Does anyone know any good non-country (sorry country fans) line dances? I'd really appreciate it if you could also include music that would work well with the song. Thank you so much, you're life savers.

- How about the electric slide? It was created in 1976, but didn't catch on until the 80's, I believe. They still play it at many dances today. As for music, "Electric Boogie" is the original music I believe it was danced too, but I'm sure you could do it to other music as well, if you found one that fit.
- Macarena Hustle (from the disco era) Cha Cha slide Jitterburg Stroll (from the 50's) Mambo Line Dance (there are several) I hope this helps!
- How about the robot?
- line dancing now adays are only done to country music about 25% of the time. go to suenkathy.com -> stepsheets and videos page they list all the line dances that they have taught, provide the stepsheet for them, and also a video of their class dancing the dance for about 75% of them. you can view the dance and hear the music at the same time.
- Cotteneye Joe, Ghostbusters, Electric Slide...
