Party help and ideas please? Murder Mystery type of party.?

I am having a birthday party on November 16th (yes, next friday) and I need to get it together and send out invitations in the next 2-3 days. (the sooner the better) My theme is sort of "Murder Mystery" or something along those lines. I want people to dress up and I want it to be fun. Is there a way to fit ballroom dancing instruction in the party too? ( It's for my 15th birthday.There will be guys and girls from ages 13-17ish)

2. First off- Happy Birthday!!! on to planning: Well, you'll need a cast of characters. Either pick them out for your guests and inform them when they RSVP, or I think your best bet is to have them create their own character within the genre of the party/theme. One way to fit ballroom dancing into it would to have the Murder Mystery take place @ a ball given by a lord and lady(prince/princess, king/queen, duke/duchess) They can be two characters in the mystery. You can have dancing and then have a dinner, during dinner the "murder" can "occur". The Lord(or whatever title you decide) is murdered in the kitchen, or hall, he'll excuse himself to the bathroom. You, the guest of honor will find him. In the end the maid will do it because she was in love with him and didn't want to share him with any one. You could also switch it around so that you are the lady and you're murdered so that your guests have to figure it out, the premise then would be that the maid wanted your man all for herself. Each character needs to seem guilty as well, they all need a way to "profit" from the death. Maybe to go with the whole 15th b-day, you could plant 15 clues? Have fun!!!
