Country line dancing from San Jose to Sacramento?
Where are some really good places to go line dancing in the area from San Jose to Sacramento. Preferably where you can meet single guys

- Well, there are lots of places to go have fun line dancing on the Peninsula and on East Bay, but average age is probably between 45 and 65 and line dancers are predominantly women. Generally, most forms of dancing attract more female participants than male, as my friend who does salsa dancing, swing dancing, and hip hop even has trouble meeting eligible men. If you don't mind the age range and lack of men, check out my list of links of local line dancing clubs: http://www.countryquicksteppers.com/links.html Country Quicksteppers is a line dancing club in Belmont. Next Saturday, 8/2, we're having a line dance social, and the theme is if you're under 40, you get in free. You can find location and time info about the dance on the Home page and on the Schedule page. Otherwise, if the goal to meet single men is stronger than your desire to dance the latest intermediate-level line dances, I'd try these country line dance bars, which also have links from my web page: 1. Saddle Rack in Fremont 2. The Rodeo Club in San Jose 3. Steppin' Out Productions in Sunnyvale (still mostly women, but because this dance studio teaches other forms of dance other than line dancing, a few men, maybe in their late 30's or 40's, do show up. I've only been there twice.) If you really want to meet men, I'd suggest you pick up golf or some other sport or hobby (i.e., car racing, poker) that attracts male participants. I keep thinking I should play tennis again just to meet guys. Our line dance clubs are primarily made up of women who love to dance and can't get their husbands to dance! - I agree with bcheng3 (waves hi!). if you want to meet single guys you have to hit up the bar scene. you can google line dancing bars northern california for a range of bars that offer line dancing that will also include bars outside the bay area. out of the list that bcheng 3 supplied the saddlerack would meet your requirements. the rodeo club is smaller and has a more intact group that dances there with very little unclaimed guys.
